Normally this column I’ve been doing for five sets now consists of three particularly special cards that I value highly for both competitive and personal reasons. For Dark Ascension I whiffed hard, but here were my picks for my favorite most relevant cards from Avacyn Restored.

A church has hit back at vandals who graffitied their signage with the Nazi swastika in a very unique way.
The Metropolitan Community Church Brisbane, in the affluent suburb of New Farm, found their signs were spray-painted with symbols of hate on two occasions in a little over one week.
On one occasion, somewhere between February 13 and February 14, the offenders spray-painted the swastika over an LGBT flag on a sign at the front of the church.
Firefighters Save Cat From Garage Fire In West Valley
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Firefighters responded to a garage fire overnight in West Valley City – and crew members were able to save a cat from the blaze.
The incident shortly after midnight in the area of 3300 South and 5900 West.
Officials said there was a resident inside the home, and that person was able to get out safely. Inside the garage, firefighters found the cat, which they helped save with oxygen.
