A church has hit back at vandals who graffitied their signage with the Nazi swastika in a very unique way.
The Metropolitan Community Church Brisbane, in the affluent suburb of New Farm, found their signs were spray-painted with symbols of hate on two occasions in a little over one week.
On one occasion, somewhere between February 13 and February 14, the offenders spray-painted the swastika over an LGBT flag on a sign at the front of the church.
And just over a week later, anti-gay Bible verse numbers appeared spray-painted over a billboard that was attached to a church wall.

The church took to social media share the disturbing images.
'Today there was another hate inspired attack on the building we worship in. I'd like to call upon all who attend and who are friends of MCC Brisbane to pray and believe,' a Facebook post read.
'Pray for the person who did this that love would win in their life instead of hate.'
'Believe also that there is a light shining at MCC Brisbane that is bigger than the hate which motivated this attack,' the post continued.

'Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, but we are going to shake it off!': The MCC responded to the hate symbols by taking to social media and quoting 'the great prophet Taylor Swift' (pictured)

'As the great prophet Taylor Swift says, ''Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, but we are going to shake it off!''.'
